Our Founders

I have spent the last 7 years playing professional rugby in Japan, and have also represented Japan’s National 7’s team.
My parents split at a young age so I spent a year in a little town in NZ called Tokoroa, and then a year in South Auckland, until the age of 13 when I departed for Melbourne.
Life wasn’t the best growing up but we made do with what we had. Being in the position and environment I’m in, has made me want to help those that are in a similar situation that I once was. My vision for IIKANJI is about giving. I wanted to create something to allow me to give back and help others.
